Check-InI checked in on a Saturday afternoon during a busy weekend in Atlanta (Taste of Atlanta, Falcons Home game and more). The valet process and check-in did not take long and the staff was very welcoming.
The RoomI stayed in the a Grand King Suite that is very spacious with a separate living room. I had a lovely view of the city with a living area, walk in closest, spacious bathroom and a bed with Egyptian cotton sheets! The bed was super comfortable, I honestly slept the most I've slept in a while. The room also has a desk, mini bar,Keurig coffeemaker and 3 tvs (yes, one in the bathroom)! It was more than enough space for me but there are additional suites available should you need more than 550 square feet. AmenitiesThe hotel is a one stop shop. Amenities include steams rooms, 24 hour fitness and business center, private car service (Mercedes) and the Exhale Spa! Exhale Spa During my staycation I checked out the Exhale Spa which is located on the 7th floor. Spa and healing services and classes such as barre and yoga classes are available. I took the Chill Yoga class which focused on relaxation and deep breathing. I will take a barre class next time. Afterwards I released even more toxins in the steam room. Namaste! Bonus-New guests can receive 2 Classes for the price of 1!
The Saltwood Charcuterie & Bar is located next to the lobby. It is a trendy small plated restaurant. You can come and socialize for happy hour in the bar area and/or enjoy a charcuterie plate of salted meat and lite bites. They also serve lunch, dinner and a very popular weekend brunch with items such as red velvet french toast and the Georgian Benedict. Reservations are suggested on the weekend.
